Who is Lisa Edwards
The youngest of five, Lisa Edwards, is a Carolina native and absolutely adores the Carolinas. As the youngest, Lisa had to adjust quickly in a bustling household. She learned the art of listening and the art of being heard! She learned how to work well with others, how to navigate chaos, how to effectively communicate and how to negotiate. Among other things, Lisa’s large family enjoyed dance, fishing, camping, sports games and amusement parks! Her family would travel to the mountains and to the beautiful Carolina beaches. What a fabulous place to be raised.
After earning a B.S. from the University of South Carolina, Lisa began working and growing her skills. Her passion for offering people the very best developed into superior service that is second to none. Lisa values walking alongside clients as they buy, sell or invest in real estate. After working in the corporate world for a bit, Lisa’s entry into real estate began in the mid-1990’s in Dunwoody, Georgia. For those unfamiliar with the 1990’s, they were pre- (a lot of things) including Waze and Google Maps! When this Carolina gal moved to Georgia, Waze and Google would have come in handy! Even though it doesn’t make the top 10 list, it seemed like everything was named “Peachtree” something! After relocating a number of times, Lisa finally settled back into the Carolinas! Can we get a “hip hip hooray”?
Both of Lisa’s children attended and graduated Fort Mill schools and attend(ed) college in the Carolinas. Her son graduated from The Citadel and her daughter attends Winthrop University. Lisa is married to a Navy Veteran – “Thank you, Stan, for your service!” Their household has four dogs, two cats and is headed for equine ownership!
